Life Is Too Short

June 27th, 2009 · No Comments

I have been doing a lot of thinking and  Life is to Short. I can remember the first time I went fishing with Grandpa and it seems to be just yesterday. Grandpa is gone and I  woke up the other morning and looked into the mirror and low and behold I was 55.

My daughter graced us with a grand-baby, a little girl and as I was holding her I told her that grandpa would take her fishing just like mine did. What a bundle of joy and gave me something to look forward to.

June 24th my grad daughter died of crib death and I will not be able to keep that promise to take her fishing for the very first time. This is what this article is all about, look at what you have and get the little ones out in the outdoors and show them all of what Mother Nature has to offer. Life is to Short and one day you might not be there to take them by the hand and show them all the sights that you have seen.

Get them out and show them what fishing is all about and do not forget the camera, that is something that you will Cherish in later years. It does not have to be fishing, maybe a camping trip, or just a walk in the woods.

What I am saying is, spend as much quality time with them, Life Is To Short to put it off and tell yourself “OH” I will do it next weekend. Stop and think to yourself one of you might not be here next weekend.
