O.K. turn off the water enough is enough, and I know what you are going to say. If I request the water to be turned off and later on this summer when it is so hot that you can not bear it. Then I wish it would rain, but here in the south we have seen enough rain to last awhile. Most of the lakes are so full and the poor fish do not know what to do.
I know that after fishing Pickwick Lake for a solid week and only ending up with two crappie because of high water, and I not being one to fish for crappie 25 to 30 feet. You could say I got beat this season, as far as missing the big spawn.
If anyone out in the fishing world and close to the south are still catching some nice crappie let me know, and if you want to make me sick send me the pictures so I can still see what they suppose to look like, and dream of how I wish I had caught them.
