PickWick Bound

April 14th, 2009 · No Comments

For all my readers and anglers Basshogfishing is getting away
from my computer to spend a fun filled week at Pickwick. I will
be on the water from the April 20th til April 27.

I hear that the crappie and bass are jumping in the boats right
now and I want in on this action. The bass are hitting Rattle
Traps and Spinner Baits in the grass or just outside. The Crappie
are starting to bed up.  The crappie are hitting jigs  and some with minnows. So it is time for this angler to fill the freezer with crappie, because everyone that knows me I release the bass.

I am already getting phone calls from people asking if I have
more crappie than I know what to do with. Every year I do end
up with more and my father has already requested to have a fish
fry in July for his birthday, and it takes alot of crappie to feed our big family, not to mention the hush puppies and coleslaw.

So it is time to go to work,  Boy Don’t you just hate that kind of work…Hey somebody got to do it.

If something comes up and you need answers for a fishing problem
or maybe want to meet up at Pickwick, just blog me and my web
guy knows how to get  me.

Do not forget April the 25th out of J.P. Coleman the Mid-South Junior Bass Club is having its second Tournament, and it is not to late to join and get the young ones involved. If you are not a member yet show up at 5am at the ramp and find Chris. Basshogfishing will be at the weigh in.
