Made a trip to Pickwick 9/29/08, launched out of J. P. Coleman Park.

I fished Indian Creek, Panther Creek, and behind State-line Island.

  The shad are in the back of the coves and was not able to pull out any Hogs, just little ones, that would not make it to the weigh in scales.

All the fishing folks that are use to fishing the grass at State-line Island prepare yourself ,the grass is not as thick as it was last year, or not at all .

Let us all cross our fingers the next two weeks and see if Pickwick will pick up now that the cool weather is coming in.
