All my reader just got back from Pickwick Lake and Planting the 22 Christmas Trees. I would like to say it was fun but, the weather was bad, cold, windy, and the lake white capped every place we went.
However was able to put the trees out and hope that they pay off big time, by filling up the boat with some fresh fish. This time was able to get them out without being seen, and did not leave the tops showing this year. So any other angler that might think they would look better in his spot will not be able to find them very fast. By the way I did not place them in the same spots as I did two years ago so don’t go there.
It is not like I will not spill the beans, because everyone knows that I will just want to try them out for a tournament then will pass on the information, even the big crappie spot I have made.
Even with the weather as bad as it was and knock on wood I came back to Memphis before the snow hit on FEB 8Th, I enjoyed being out in the outdoors dressed like a Eskimo I still enjoyed the outdoors.
They even had a tournament on the 8TH and I heard 11 pounds won it, but I felt for those folks I know they had to be some kind of cold.
Next stop will be the 46Th Annual Boat Show In Memphis Feb 19,20,21 where I will be doing the seminars on the Crappi Candle. I will be in booth 19 right across from the seminar room. Stop by and say HI and meet the guy behind all these articles.
Still looking for guides that might want to advertise their guide service, we now have a Guide Service page up and it is active on both sites. I have guides for all the lakes in the MID-SOUTH which is brand new this year, but no one has placed a add YET. The ones that you see are examples for now.
Any company that wants to donate some product to be given away on the sites please contact me to discuss.
Keep The Hooks Wet
