How about that a few days away from Thanksgiving and I am still jerking some jaws at a near by pond. I had told a guy about the bass and I figured he thought I was pulling his leg. I guess if I am going to walk the walk and talk the talk I better be able to prove what I preach, and I did just that.

The water temp wasd about 55 and 1/2 degrees that is the surface temp and last Sunday the outside air was not much warmer. It was alright as long as the sun was out and that did not last long.  As the sun made its way behind the clouds I thought maybe the fish would turn on with the overcast. I know that the guy I took with me to prove I was on the fish, and no one was pulling his leg. I know he wished the sun would come back out due to the fact he had on a short sleeve T- shirt.

It did not make a big difference to the Bass still was able to catch about 35 before the light switch got turned off. Caught every one on the (CHROME and BLUE) Rattle Trap and I did try the ring worm but no takers.

I know when we left the heater in the truck felt good and he knew this was not one of those fish tales that a lot of anglers tell.

I released the fish for another day of fight and be sure that I will keep a close eye on this lake this coming spring to see if the Big Hogs move up and want to take on the fight with me.

Still got time to win a Clip Hanger before the end of the month just log on to the contest site and give it a shot.
