Table Rock Lake - Ranked One of the
Best
Table Rock Lake is a very clear water
lake and covers 43,000 Acres. It has been Ranked
Nationally for its' numbers and size of
Bass / Crappie.
This is a lake located in
Missouri near Branson
that attracks all the Music Listeners. If you want to
get away for a fun filled
fishing day, you'll be close enough to get back to Branson for
a night of entertainment from nationally known singers who
have built their own facilities in this small city located in
the mountains.
You can bring your own boat. They have
a great launch site called
Bent Hook Marina that is full service. If you choose not to
bring your own boat, they do
rent out Bass Trackers by half day or full day. They also have
Ski boats and Pontoon
boats.
Bent Hook Marina also has professional
guides that can take you to
the honey holes and see that you haul in a hog or
two.
Big Cedar Lodge is about a ten minute
drive from Branson Mo and in my books I
have to rate it at 5 Stars *****. Guest
may choose to stay the big lodge or
you my choose to stay in a Knoty Pine
Cottage Log Cabin. No matter which way
you choose, it will be a trip of a
lifetime that will not be forgotten.
The rates are good. Visitors,
Sunday through Thursday from January 1 - March 8,
can
get a real good deal. Expect to pay
more for the weekend but once you have been
a customer; you will return and become
family.
I highly recommend to call
ahead to make reservations
at 1-800-225-6343 or visit them at www.bigcedar.com or if
you have a Bass Pro shop
in your area, they have a deal inside Bass Pro where
you can go in and book
your trip.
The fishing is the best; this is one
lake you will learn to fish a Drop Shot,
crankbaits and even the
never fail Worm or Lizard.
I have fished a lot of lakes but can
not recall one that I could
look down into the water and see so far down. This brings up
the small problem of if you
can see the fish, you can bet they see you long before you see
them.
This Lake will accommodate you
with the three basic things I tell you to look for when
you fish a lake that you
have never seen. Look for the rocks (there is plenty of
them), Grass coming off the
banks and just sticking out of the water, and of course
you will have plenty of wood
to land a hog.
Do not forget that camera. I am sure
there is going to be a
few pictures you will want to save.
When booking your trip of a life time,
don't forget to tell them you heard about it
at www.basshogfishing.com
Big Cedar also has other locations
from Florida to Texas and
other special places to check out for great get
aways.
