Bass Fishing Fall Ammo
I can not believe it has
almost been a whole year and Fall is just around the corner. I
have come up with some of my go to baits and how to rig
them.
First I must say that I have
been to a lot of the lakes here in the Mid South and am seeing
that we are about to have us a great Fall fishing
time.
What I mean is the shad are
coming out and starting to move to the coves, and in some
lakes, you can almost get out of the boat and walk on them. It
goes back to the many articles that I have written, find the
shad and you can bet the fish are close by.

As you can see, the first picture
is an arsenal of Poppers; the rest of the pictures are my favorite for
Fall fishing, and they are Flukes tied on to the main line
without any weight.

Now, let's get into building
the catch Three At A Time
Rig Setup
I like to use a Bass Pro Wide Super Lock Worm
Hook Size 5/0 as part of the rig set up.

This will give you enough
weight to cast all three and the amount of the weight will let
the bait slowly sink in the mist of all the shad.
As you can see I placed the first one approx
23" from the bottom of the line, attached by a palamar
knot.
Then proceed to come down the
line at least 10" to 12" and attached the second one, then
attached the last one to the end of the line.
Secure all three using the
palamar knot.
You Are Ready For Some Fun!
Give it a small jerk and it
will make your bait look like it is trying to run or swim off
in different directions.
We all know that the bass do
not just chase just one shad and this gives the effect of a
small school, and I can promise you it will amaze you in the
fish you will catch.
After the first one is on the
line and you are fighting him back to the boat take your time
and most of the time another bass fish is following the one
that you have hooked in hopes that the first fish will drop the
bait until he sees the other bait and then hits it. Now you
have two on the line and the fight is on.
I have passed this on to all
my angler friends and you will see what the excitment is all
about, one last TIP that I will pass on is after the shad
have disappeared.
Look for a tree in a cove that
is laying in the water and throw to the very tip and let the
bait sink out of sight and give it a little switch and let the
flukes fall. I pass this on to you because I showed a guy how
well this works and he caught a 7 pounder; his biggest Bass so
far.
Don't forget Buzzbaits ,
Rattle Traps, Spinner Baits, and thank all the hunters that
have gone back into the woods and left you the whole lake to
seek out MR.
BASSHOG.
